BLS FOR HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS
The BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
This Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
HEARTSAVER® FIRST AID
The First Aid course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) and the 2015 AHA/Red Cross Guidelines for First Aid.
This Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
HEARTSAVER® CPR AED
The CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
This Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
HEARTSAVER® PEDIATRIC FIRST AID CPR/AED
The Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course trains participants to perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation on infants. Participants will learn how to recognize emergencies and how to perform CPR on infants in case of choking or cardiac emergencies. This certification course is cost-effective and American Heart Association guidelines compliant.
HEARTSAVER® CPR AED, FIRST AID
The CPR AED Class and First Aid Course trains participants the most up-to-date guidelines for performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation or CPR. Participants will learn the proper way to perform CPR skills such as chest compressions and rescue breathing. Depending on the course, you may learn how to perform adult, child, and infant CPR, or focus specifically on adult CPR.
This class will cover the basic anatomy and physiology of the respiratory and cardiac systems, and how your intervention can work to support them.
Periodically, the American Heart Association updates its CPR guidelines, so it is always important to keep your certification fresh.
